Dr. Omar Al Zriqat is a distinguished legal expert with a Ph.D. in Law from Ain Shams University, an LL.M from the University of Cairo, and an LL.B from the University of Jordan. With a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Omar has cultivated extensive expertise in legislation, arbitration, public procurement, and legal consultancy, making him a leading figure in the legal landscape of Jordan and beyond.

Dr. Omar began his illustrious career as a lawyer, then a consultant before the Social Security Corporation and thereafter as a legal consultant before the Jordanian Parliament in 1993, where he played a pivotal role in drafting, reviewing, and amending over 500 pieces of legislation. His exceptional contributions to legislative development demonstrate his deep understanding of governance, legal frameworks, and public policy. His influence extended across numerous sectors, including finance, energy, education, and the environment, where his work has left a lasting impact on Jordan’s legal and institutional structures.

During his tenure as Counselor at the Legislation and Opinion Bureau, Dr. Omar provided legal consultancy to governmental entities, adjudicated major legal cases, and guided the development of comprehensive legislative reforms. He also chaired discussions on critical laws and regulations, demonstrating a remarkable ability to bridge gaps between policy and practice. His efforts in public procurement, particularly as Chairman of the Procurement Complaints Review Committee, were instrumental in ensuring transparency, compliance, and efficiency in government procurement processes.
